Free Wood Chips in the Bay Area
Our wood chip mulch is a byproduct of our commercial tree trimming and removal business. The mulch is clean and organic. It consists of twigs, branches, shredded leaves, seed pods and trucks of tree and bushes, which has passed through our commercial shredder. The quantity of the mulch is around 20 cubic yards, which covers an area of around 2,000 square feet 2-3 inches deep. It comes in a commercial dump truck and the area you want it dumped in must be wide enough for the truck. We bring the mulch from the job site to you, so we will deliver it when we have a job in your area. It is great for weed suppression, water retention, dog runs, muddy areas, etc.
Our Bay Area Delivery Areas
Many gardening experts recommend mulching for a successful garden. We deliver it free of charge. The delivery area is as far north as Vallejo, east to Antioch, west to Oakland and south to San Ramon. We generally work in only that rough square, with most work concentrated in the Martinez, Concord, Danville, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, and Lafayette Areas. We would need a contact phone number, name, address, and a description of the area you want the wood chip mulch dumped. When we are in your area, we will call you to make sure you still want the mulch, and then we will bring it directly from the job site to you.
What Do the Wood Chips Look Like?
It is important to note that our wood chips do not look like the chips you might find at Lowe’s or Home Depot, which are graded for size, uniformity, and dyed. It does compost down to mostly wood pieces. When we are in your area, we will contact you to deliver your free wood chip mulch.
